Hi! My name is Jane LeGard Ernstof, and I am the one-woman show behind Perry Hill Pottery, where I create functional stoneware and handmade pottery. After retiring from a 20+ year career as an OR nurse, I am now happily pursuing my passion for Vermont pottery.

My inspiration comes from the natural world around me here in the Green Mountains of Vermont, where I draw from the textures and colors of the earth and the patterns of the mountains. I aim to capture the essence of nature in my handmade pottery, creating functional stoneware pieces that are both timeless and modern, reflecting the spirit of Vermont pottery.
Craftsmanship
Each piece of functional stoneware is handmade by myself in my home studio in Waterbury, VT. There is much care and attention to detail, but I believe that the beauty of handmade pottery lies in their inherent imperfections, making each piece of Vermont pottery truly unique.
